Capitol CREAG is looking for an Environmental Specialist, Senior Project Manager for Planning/Historic Preservation in the Washington, DC area, working on behalf of a federal agency.
Summary:
Individuals will assist the government in continuing the development, implementation, and refinement of their organization. Individuals must be knowledgeable of all Executive Orders, Public Laws, and other policythat govern the area of environmental and energymanagement. Individual must have specific training and/or practical experience in the implementationof the provisions of NEPA. Individual must alsohave experience in developing and implementingenvironmental programs, handbooks, and trainingmanuals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serving as environmental expert for cultural and historic preservation
- Developing and revising environmental planning policies
- Completing analysis of NHPA 110 surveys and planning a data management system
- Reviewing and completing environmental planning documents
Special Considerations:
- Shall have the ability to effectively communicate both orally (in common English narration) and in writing (to include technical documentation).
- Shall have the ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and tight deadlines, work independently, and work in a team environment.
- Shall be proficient in Microsoft Office 2003 or later with particular emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and other applicable database and office automation products.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP and Tririga Systems is highly desirable, but not required.
Minimum Education:
Individuals must have a minimum of a 4-year degree in a related field and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Individuals shall have a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience.
Government Experience and clearance (HSPD-12) preferred.
