Financial Analyst

Capitol CREAG is looking for a Financial Analyst in the DC area, working on behalf of a federal agency.  Provides very complex analytical and technical support for issue analysis by performing research, preparing reports and developing statistical, financial, and econometric models. Manage acquisition accounting and related service issues.  Conduct audits and establish and maintains internal controls in the delivery of sound financial practices.  Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Participate in rent bill documentation efforts which include file preparation, examination, and “tagging” of specific documents as directed.
  • Assist in the month-end closing and distribution of monthly financial statements.
  • Perform detailed financial statement analyses on asset performance.
  • Provide expert financial, transactional, and audit documentation support.
  • Makes accurate forecasts as to the effect of proposed budget levels on the scope of services.
  • Support efforts include working as part of a small or large team, independently, participating in meetings.
  • Prepares comprehensive and detailed reports relating to preparation and submission of financial data records of various assets, asset performance, etc.
  • Monitors asset financial records, notifies appropriate management personnel of significant variances; takes appropriate corrective action necessary to resolve such variances.

Minimum Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in accounting, real estate, finance or related field and 5 years of experience auditing, rent billing and/or analyzing financial data.
  • Excellent written and oral skills, strong computer and financial skills
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate work of others.
  • Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline-oriented.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors and employees at all levels of the organization.

CAD/CAFM Analyst – Washington, DC

Capitol CREAG is seeking to fill CAD/CAFM Analyst position for Government Agency in the District of Columbia.

Summary:

Must have knowledge of ANSI/BOMA space measurements; have a familiarity with architecture, engineering and construction; ability to read and interpret blueprints and use a tape measure or other measuring device; and possess CAD database skills.

Minimum Education:

BA/BS in a related academic field plus 4 yrs directly related experience, or 6 yrs directly related experience.

Government Experience a plus.

Construction Manager Program Managers ( CMPM )

Capitol CREAG is seeking to fill Construction Manager Program Manager (CMPM) position for Government Agency in the District of Columbia.

Summary:

  • Provides expert professional advice for the design and construction of new buildings or repair and alteration projects in existing facilities such as office buildings, warehouses, border stations, parking facilities, historic buildings, and court and custom facilities;
  • Performs complex and highly technical studies and comparative design analysis, recommending solutions of problems in designated structures to be included in the current repair and alteration programs;
  • Provides professional management review, code review, constructability review, compliance review, technical evaluation, assessment, and recommendation through the comparative analysis of progressive design and construction documents, including:
    • (a) the resolution of complex designs and/or construction problems, and
    • (b) providing the appropriate design direction to agency officials, client agencies, and contract A/E firms, or appropriate construction contractors;
  • Establishes the design, coordinating the preparation of complete complicated and complex designs, and coordinating the preparation of complete design documents, and
  • Coordinates designs through the preparation, review and approval of budgetary, conceptual, intermediate and final designs.
