This assessment will be used to provide guidance for a developer solicitation and an Army ground lease valuation for the EUL development project. Due to the 2005 Defense Base Closure and Realignment Act, there will be an increase of 11,499 workers and their families by 2011. As this influx of people presents a challenge to the Fort Knox community, the Army Corps of Engineers needed a report providing solutions by analyzing uses for five (5) prospective sites at Fort Knox.
